Note: I’m writing this before having watched the results show…

There seems to be a growing backlash against Kellie Pickler.

Meanwhile, a funny thing happened last week. During the elimination, Kellie Pickler asked the question, “what’s a ballsy?” The next day radio stations all over North Carolina replayed that comment and people were calling those stations and calling Kellie’s “dumb act” an embarrassment to Southerners everywhere. Everyone I spoke to – even those that were once staunch Pickler fans – expressed anger over what they called “the Gomer Pyle routine.” When your home fan base turns against you, you’re in some deep trouble.

And, it seems that a photo (allegedly) of Kellie in her (alleged) prom dress have surfaced. Did I mention that it seems to be quite the R-rated little gown? [HT: Fatback and Collards]
