Maybe I’m just dense today, but I don’t get the picture. I would have to assume there is picture of Christ on the side of the building. I really should know better than to assume…

That building, the Hesburgh Library, at Notre Dame (here’s the real photo) has a mural on the side that is referred to as the “Touchdown Jesus,” as it is easily viewable from Notre Dame’s football stadium.

The joke here is that, if ND were Islamic instead of RC, then “Touchdown Mohammed” would be a blank wall, given Islam’s prohibition against portraying Mohammed.

Not side-splitting, but good enough for a case of the giggles (at least for me)…

GHP, Thanks! I thought that might be it. “Touchdown Jesus”, now thats funny! Lately, I find nothing funny about the Mohammedians. But that’s my problem. Good post.
