Searching for hits & readers

For some odd reason, in the past two days the number of hits this blog has taken has just exploded — just under 500 referral hits from Yahoo Search. Why, you ask? Well, I wondered that myself. It seems that for the search phrase “kellie pickler prom dress” one of my postings comes up as the #3 result!

Friday’s explosion in hits was by far the most activity that my blog has ever had. To get an idea of just how out of whack it was, take a look at the stats here & here.

I’ve come to realize that raw hit count numbers aren’t the be-all & end-all (I’d much rather have high Feedburner, TTLB, & Technorati stats!), but it’s still kinda cool for a Q-list blogger like me!
