A non-church growthy way of doing church growth
Filed under : theology
Usually the words “church” & “growth”, when linked together in a particular way, push one of my hot buttons in a big, BIG, way. Rather than subject you to the umpteenth rant of mine on the subject, I will instead point you to a wonderful post on the subject over at Hoc est verum. Der Bettler has beaten the odds by using the aforementioned two words together, but has done so in a way that doesn’t make me retch! ![]()
Rather, he’s done so in a way that is distinctly Lutheran. So much so, I fear, that his proposal has the proverbial snowball’s chance of surviving an Ablaze!-ing heat wave. But it’s still good reading nonetheless. Kudos to Der Bettler for a fine posting!
