Well now I’ve gone & done it. Or, more accurately, the Valparaiso Circuit (of the Indiana District of the LCMS) has…
I’ve been elected to serve as the lay delegate for our circuit at the 2007 LCMS national convention next July. In Houston. Did I mention that it’s in July? Well, it is.
In the district (TX) from which our current, self-proclaimed non-theologian, synodical president emerged.
At a time when our synod is in more conflict & turmoil than it’s been since the 1970s.
When orthodox confessional Lutherans are attempting to fend off incursions by methobapticostal American Evangelicalism, theological liberalism, and societal/cultural relativism.
It should be fun…
