If ever you’re a delegate…

You can look forward to this level of “stuff” to make its way to you…

The top half is “official” convention stuff (e.g., the workbook & various issues of “Today’s Business”), while the bottom half is the distillation (i.e., removal of envelopes) of all the pre-convention stuff I received, minus issues of Christian News

It might not look like all that much, but trust me, it is. It’s really quite amazing just how much stuff gets sent out to delegates. Those folks who think that there is no politics in the church have NO IDEA.

    How’s your Boston Terrier? ;)
I received the same political junk mail. What bothered me was the complete lack of interest from the congregations and pastors in my circuit. After emailing AND mailing the pastors and congregations of my circuit re: the sentiments of the members of the circuit(per bylaw) there were three replies: one from my pastoral delgate, one from my own pastor/circuit counselor, and one letter from a layman of my own congregation who ranted on about conservative pastors driving away educated parishioners and refuting the six-day creation.
